Washington, D.C. — Initial reports from multiple journalists and outlets have come in that two national guard members have been shot near the White House. Newsmax White House correspondent Mike Carter posted on X that this information came to him from the Secret Service.
Fox News posted on the story stating that they have confirmation from two sources “that two National Guard members were shot in Washington, D.C. about a mile from the White House, but their conditions are not known. The whereabouts of the alleged shooter are not known.”
Federal officials have not yet issued comment on the incident.
