Vancouver, WA. — Clark County is accepting applications for four volunteer seats on its Community Action Advisory Board (CAAB): one low-income representative from District 4 and community representatives from Districts 1, 3, and 4.
Terms begin Jan. 1, 2026 and run three years through Dec. 31, 2028. Incumbents may be reappointed for up to two additional three-year terms.
The 15-member CAAB advises local government on funding for basic needs, self-sufficiency, and housing programs, and advocates for services that support low-income individuals and families at the local, state, and federal levels. The county aims to diversify board composition and encourages applicants with a wide range of backgrounds and lived experiences, especially people of color and those from historically oppressed or under-resourced communities.
How to apply: Submit an application and résumé to Abby Molloy, Clark County Community Services, P.O. Box 5000, Vancouver, WA 98666-5000, or email abby.molloy@clark.wa.gov.
