Clackamas County, OR. — The Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) led the 22nd annual National Family Violence Warrant Sweep on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, joining law enforcement agencies across the country to arrest individuals with outstanding family-violence warrants.
This year’s coordinated operation involved approximately 116 agencies across ten states, including Oregon sheriff’s offices in Marion, Multnomah, Polk, Yamhill, and Jackson counties.
In Clackamas County, the sweep began with a briefing led by Sheriff Angela Brandenburg, who addressed deputies, parole and probation officers, and officers from the Canby, Happy Valley, Lake Oswego, Molalla, West Linn, and Wilsonville Police Departments.
By day’s end, Clackamas County deputies and officers had arrested 13 people on existing family-violence warrants and made more than 104 additional attempts to serve warrants. National totals from participating agencies are still being collected.
The annual effort is part of a nationwide push to ensure accountability for individuals wanted in connection with domestic and family violence cases, while connecting survivors with critical resources.
