Lake County, OR. — Official Release: On August 19th, 2025 Oregon State Police in conjunction with the Lake County Sheriff’s Office and Lake County Parole and Probation served a search warrant at a residence on North T Street in Lakeview, Oregon. Pursuant to the execution of the search warrant James Lloyd Thompson, Jr. was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine (count one) a class C felony and Failure to Report as a Sex Offender (count two) another class C felony.
On Monday, September 23rd, 2025 James Lloyd Thompson Jr. was sentenced to five years to the Oregon Department of Corrections for Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine (count 1). Mr. Thompson Jr. was also sentenced to five years to the Oregon Department of Corrections for Failure to Report as a Sex Offender (count 2). The sentence on count two is consecutive to the sentence on count one. James Lloyd Thompson Jr. will be serving a total of 120 months in the Oregon Department of Corrections.
