Kennewick, WA. — Official Release: On April 28, 2025, at approximately 6:15 p.m., Kennewick Police Officers were dispatched to the area of W Clearwater Avenue and N Edison Street following multiple reports of shots fired. Witnesses reported that three individuals were seen running in the roadway and firing multiple rounds at a passing vehicle.
Responding officers quickly established containment in the area. Kennewick K-9 Ivan was deployed to assist with a track from the suspects’ last known location. A drone was also utilized in the search efforts.
Three subjects were detained on suspicion of involvement but were later released following further investigation. At this time, no victims have come forward.
