Salem, OR. – Official Release: The Oregon Senate Republican Caucus mourns the loss of Senator Aaron Woods (D-Wilsonville), who passed away on Saturday surrounded by family. “Above all, Aaron Woods was thoughtful,” said Senate Republican Leader Daniel Bonham (R-The Dalles). “In a building that too often highlights division, he stood out as someone who led with compassion, listened with humility, and treated everyone with respect. Aaron brought a sense of decency and humanity to the Capitol that reminded us of all of what public service should look like.” The Senate Republican Caucus extends its heartfelt condolences to Senator Woods’s family and all who were touched by his remarkable life.
