Woodburn, OR. — Official Release: On Thursday, March 20, 2025, at about 5:10 p.m., Woodburn Police were called to the 1100 block of N 2nd St. after a report of a shooting. When officers got there, they did not find any suspects, but they did find a man who had been shot. He was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
During the investigation, Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies found a suspect, 18-year-old Eduardo Rodriguez Castillo, on Whitman Cir. NE, Salem, OR. Rodriguez Castillo was arrested and charged with Attempted Murder, Assault I, Reckless Endangering Another, and Unlawful Use of a Weapon.
