Fatal Crash in Lake County on Hwy 140: OSP Incident Report
A single-vehicle crash on Highway 140 in Lake County resulted in the death of Laura Anne Keys on February 14, 2025.
Lake County, OR.- Official Release: On Friday, February 14, 2025, at 11:33 a.m., Oregon State Police responded to a single-vehicle crash on Highway 140, near milepost 55, in Lake County.
The preliminary investigation indicated a westbound Nissan Sentra, operated by Laura Anne Keys (47) of Grants Pass, left the roadway for unknown reasons and rolled down a steep embankment coming to rest on its top.
The operator (Keys) was declared deceased at the scene.
The highway was not impacted during the on-scene investigation.
OSP was assisted by Lake County Search and Rescue and ODOT.
