Tacoma, WA. – Official Release: At approximately 2:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 9, 2025, our officers responded to the 4800 block of North 18th Street on a report of shots fired and a man lying in the street.
Upon arrival, our officers found an adult male suffering from gunshot wounds. Responding officers and Tacoma Fire Department personnel attempted life-saving measures, but the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Crime Scene Technicians and detectives have responded to the scene. The incident is being investigated as a homicide.
