
Longview, WA. – Official Release: On the evening of Friday, December 13, 2024, Longview Police Department officers responded to a residential burglary in progress in the 4300 block of Hampton Court. A vigilant neighbor reported observing two males attempting to break into a home before fleeing the scene.
Responding officers quickly located a vehicle matching the suspect description near Pacific Way and 30th Avenue. When officers initiated a high-risk traffic stop near RA Long High School, the suspects initially stopped but then fled. Officers executed a successful PIT maneuver moments later, disabling the vehicle. All three suspects were apprehended and arrested without further incident.
Subsequent investigation revealed that two of the suspects gained entry to the residence by breaking a window. Evidence collected from the scene included burglary tools, clothing, and surveillance footage from the victim’s home.
The suspects, identified as Johan S. Villalva Parra (24), Andres A. Navarro Perez (26), and Elian R. Carrero Navarro (24), were booked into the Cowlitz County Jail on multiple charges, including:
Residential Burglary
Criminal Conspiracy
Malicious Mischief 2nd Degree
Possession of Burglar Tools
Additionally, Navarro Perez was charged with Failure to Obey an Officer (RCW 46.61.022).
None of the suspects are believed to be from the Longview area and appear to be Colombian nationals.
The Longview Police Department commends the quick actions of responding officers and the alert neighbor who reported suspicious activity, leading to the suspects’ apprehension.
