
Portland, OR. – Official Release: Officers assigned to Central Precinct’s Neighborhood Response Team (NRT) arrested two people following the thefts of thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from a business in the Pearl District.
On Monday, December 9, 2024, NRT officers, with assistance from Loss Prevention personnel at Lululemon, identified an individual using Facebook Marketplace to sell merchandise that had been stolen from the Lululemon store in 1200 block of Northwest Couch Street. Officers responded to the ad on Facebook Marketplace and agreed to meet the seller in the 300 block of Northwest 19th Avenue. When they arrived, officers took two individuals into custody.
Tyler J. West, 33, of Portland, was transported to the Multnomah County Detention Center (MCDC) and lodged on the following charges: Theft in the First Degree (four counts), Organized Retail Theft, Computer Crime.
Alexander W. Dunham, 28, of Portland, was transported to MCDC and lodged on the following charges: Theft in the First Degree (four counts), Organized Retail Theft, Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
Through the investigation, officers determined that West and Dunham stole more than $12,000 worth of merchandise in five thefts from Lululemon dating back to mid-November.
