Portland, OR. – Official Release: On Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at 11:24 p.m., Portland Police officers assigned to North Precinct responded to a call of a crash involving a pedestrian at the intersection of North Kerby Avenue and North Columbia Boulevard. When officers arrived, they located the pedestrian who was pronounced deceased at the scene. Preliminary information suggests there were two vehicles involved in the crash. The drivers of the vehicles remained at the scene and are cooperating with the investigation.
The Portland Police Traffic Division Major Crash Team is responding to the scene to investigate the crash. During the investigation, North Columbia Boulevard will remain closed between North Vancouver Avenue and I-5.
