-Felony Assault III (20 months of Prison)
In September of 2022, CCSO responded to a “T-Bone” style traffic crash on Fern Hill Road in Rainier in which the driver and passenger in the victim’s vehicle sustained physical injuries. The driver of the vehicle advised responding Deputies that he believed the driver of the Toyota Tacoma which struck their vehicle was driving under the influence of intoxicants.
CCSO Deputies investigated the incident and subsequently placed the driver of the Tacoma, who was identified as Danal Allen of Vancouver Washington, under arrest for Felony Assault III and Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants. At the time, Deputies learned Allen was also wanted out of Lincoln County Oregon for assaultive crimes.
In November of 2022, a warrant was issued for Allen’s arrest and in November of 2023, Allen was arrested in Clark County Washington and transported by Columbia County Jail Deputies to the Columbia County Jail, where he has been held until his transport to prison.
CCSO would like to thank our patrol division and the Columbia County District Attorney’s Office for their diligent work on this case, as well as our corrections staff for keeping this offender out of the community.
