Portland, OR. – Official Release: A man has been shot and killed in the Hazelwood neighborhood.
On Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at 11:34 p.m., officers from the East Precinct responded to the 12100 block of Northeast Glisan Street on reports of a person shot. When officers arrived at the location, they found a male victim who was deceased.
No arrests have been made and no suspects have been detained.
Portland Police Bureau Homicide detectives are responding to the scene to investigate. During the investigation, Northeast 122nd Avenue will be closed between Northeast Glisan Street and Northeast Oregon Street.
The identity of the victim will be released after the Medical Examiner has confirmed the cause of death and after family members have been notified. The PIO is not responding to the scene. More information will be released when appropriate.
