McHaddad: Re-Elect Union County Sheriff Cody Bowen

As a former Chair of the Union County Republican Party, I am proud to endorse Sheriff Cody Bowen for re-election. Sheriff Bowen served Union County residents with honor and pushed back against crippling mandates handed out by Governor Kate Brown’s capricious political dictats. Sheriff Bowen is best equipped to lead Union County’s law enforcement efforts when Measure 110 rollbacks take effect, as evidenced by the reinstatement of the Drug Task Force. Moreover, Sheriff Bowen has never come close to engaging in undue influence in elections during either of his campaigns. Following our joint service on the La Grande School District Strategic Planning Committee, I know that Sheriff Bowen and his team are up to the task of building relationships with the community and fighting the scourge of drugs, violence, and sexual assault embattling rural communities across Oregon. Union County residents can look forward to another 4 years of integrity under Sheriff Bowen’s leadership.
