Portland, OR. – Official Release: On Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at 5:47 a.m., North Precinct officers responded to reports of a crash near the intersection of North Marine Drive and North Portland Road. When they arrived, officers determined there was a crash involving a motorcycle and vehicle. Unfortunately, the motorcyclist, an adult male, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with police.
The Portland Police Bureau’s Major Crash Team is responding. North Marine Drive will be closed from North Force Avenue to North Portland Road for the duration of the investigation.
