Portland, OR. – Official Release: On Sunday, July 28, 2024 at 6:02 a.m., Portland Police officers from North Precinct responded to a report of shots fired near Northeast 6th Avenue and Northeast Holladay Street. When they arrived they found an adult male deceased on the sidewalk.
The suspect or suspects left the scene before police arrived and no immediate arrests were made.
The Portland Police Homicide Unit responded to the scene and is investigating the shooting. During the investigation, Northeast Holladay Street is closed between Northeast Grand Avenue and Northeast 7th Avenue. TriMet service on Northeast Holladay Street is affected.
