Portland, OR. – Official Release: On Thursday, July 25, 2024, at 6:00 p.m., officers from the Central Precinct responded to reports of a pedestrian struck by a train at the intersection of Northwest Sherlock Avenue and Northwest Nicolai Street. Officers arrived to find the man died at the scene.
The Portland Police Bureau Major Crash Team has responded to the scene to investigate. During the investigation, Northwest Nicolai Street will be closed in the immediate area.
