Oregon – Official Release: DEQ invites public input on proposed permanent rule amendments to chapter 340 of the Oregon Administrative Rules. The 2023 Oregon Legislature passed House Bill 3409 authorizing the Oregon Environmental Quality Commission to adopt rules to implement a new rebate program supporting the purchase of zero emissions medium and heavy-duty vehicles. The 2024 Oregon Legislature passed House Bill 4901 creating a new fund for dedicated Charge Ahead rebates and removing the ability to stack certain rebates.
Public Comment
DEQ is asking for public comment on the proposed rule amendments. Anyone can submit comments and questions about this rulemaking.
