Oregon – Official Release: Amber Alert Rescue (April 23, 2024)

The video is a summary compilation of Oregon State Police dash and body camera footage of troopers responding to an Amber Alert on April 23, 2024.
On the night of April 22, 2024, Washington State law enforcement issued an Amber Alert for a young child kidnapped by his father, who was wanted in connection with two murders.
On April 23, 2024, Oregon State Troopers located the suspect on I-5 southbound near Eugene. The suspect led troopers on a 22-minute pursuit, shot at responding troopers, crashed, and ultimately turned a gun on himself.
The kidnap victim was safely rescued.
