Portland, OR. – Official Release: The motorcyclist who died in the Wednesday crash on Southeast Flavel Street has been identified as Phillip P. Taylor, 22, of Happy Valley, Oregon. His family has been notified of his death.
Preliminary investigation revealed that Taylor was riding a 2023 Harley Davidson Softail southbound on Southeast 112th Avenue when he struck a 2006 Ford Focus driven by a 66-year-old woman eastbound on Southeast Flavel Street. The driver was transported to the hospital for non life-threatening injuries. She was interviewed by officers at the hospital. No arrests were made. The crash is still under investigation.
