Gilliam County, OR. – Official Release: Today, Governor Tina Kotek announced that she will appoint Cristina S. Patnode, former Gilliam County Justice of the Peace, to the vacant position of Gilliam County Commission Judge, pursuant to ORS 236.210.
Patnode received nearly 62% of the vote in the May primary. The appointment reflects the majority of voters in Gilliam County. The appointment is effective immediately.
The election results in Gilliam County show Cris Patnode receiving 486 votes out of 793 ballots cast with Leah Watkins receiving second most with 212.
