Portland, OR. – Official Release: On Monday, June 3, 2024, at 9:57 p.m., officers from the North Precinct responded to a crash near the 9500 block of Northeast Sandy Boulevard. Officers arrived to find a crash between a pedestrian and a small car. The pedestrian died at the scene. The driver of the car remained at the scene.
The Portland Police Bureau Major Crash Team is responding to the scene to investigate. During the investigation Northeast Sandy Boulevard will be closed from Northeast 94th Avenue to Northeast 98th Avenue.
