Portland, OR. – Official Release: The woman killed in a shooting in the Hazelwood Neighborhood on May 23 has been identified as Laquonda Fuller-Hudson, 31, of Portland. Her family provided the attached photo for public release.
The Medical Examiner determined Fuller-Hudson died of homicide by gunshot wound.
The suspect in this case is in police custody at a local hospital. He is being treated for injuries sustained during an incident that occurred after the homicide, but prior to the suspect’s contact with law enforcement. That incident is still under investigation.
