The State Central Committee of the Oregon Republican Party held quadrennial elections for Republican National Committee positions in North Bend this weekend. Every State Republican Party sends three delegates to the Republican National Committee, the State Party Chair, National Committeewoman, and National Committeeman.
Incumbent National Committeewoman Tracy Honl of Clatsop was reelected, challenged by Washington County GOP Delegate Helen Rey-Heller and Klamath GOP Chair Rejeana Jackson.
ORP Finance Chair and Oregon Government Ethics Commission member Dan Mason of Washington County was elected in the second round of voting. Previous National Committeeman Solomon Yue of Polk County sought reelection but withdrew after the first round. Also running were Don Powers of Clackamas County and Jerry Cummings of Columbia County.
Both Mason and Honl were endorsed by Young Republicans of Oregon. Restaurateur Justin Hwang of Multnomah remains Chair of the Oregon Republican Party, with a term running through winter 2025.
