Portland, OR. – Per an official release: On Sunday, February 18, 2024, at 2:40 a.m., officers from the North Precinct responded to a shooting call in the 4200 block of North Halsey Street. When officers arrived, they found a man who was deceased. No arrests have been made and no one has been detained.
The Portland Police Homicide detectives have responded to the scene to investigate. The identity of the victim will be released after the Medical Examiner has confirmed the cause of death and after family members have been notified. The PIO is not responding to the scene. More information will be released when appropriate.
