SB 1537: Relating to abortion restrictions; prescribing an effective date.
Prohibits an abortion unless a health care provider first determines the probable gestational age of the unborn child, except in the case of a medical emergency.
SB 1544: Relating to a specially assessed value for the residences of seniors; prescribing an effective date.
Provides, for purposes of ad valorem property taxation, a specially assessed value for the owner-occupied primary residences of individuals who are at least 65 years of age.
SB 1545: Relating to the assessment of rebuilt homesteads; prescribing an effective date.
Authorizes a county to allow a homestead rebuilt by the same owner on the same lot to replace the homestead destroyed by the September 2020 wildfires to have a specially assessed value equal to the destroyed homestead’s real market value for the 2020-2021 property tax year, to the extent of the square footage of the destroyed homestead.
SB 1562: Relating to state financial administration.
Increases the maximum amount of the biennial transfer to the Oregon Rainy Day Fund.
