On February 6th, 2024, at approximately 9:30 am, the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office Illegal Marijuana Market Team (DCIMME) executed a search warrant in the 7000 block of SW 77th Street, Redmond, Oregon. This was the result of a long-term investigation into the possession, manufacture, and delivery of illegal marijuana and marijuana items.
Putnam was contacted during a traffic stop where he was read and provided a copy of the search warrant. Detectives then responded to the residence where they executed the search warrant.
During the search, detectives located and seized an AR-15, two handguns, 152 pounds of processed marijuana estimated to have a street value of $100,000.00 and almost $10,000.00 in U.S. Currency.

Charges: ORS 475C.337, Possession of Marijuana (32 times legal limit) ORS 475C.345 Attempted Delivery of Marijuana (32 times legal limit)
The marijuana seized was pre-packaged and destined for the black market according to investigators.
The Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office’s Illegal Marijuana Market Enforcement Team (DCIMME) continues to conduct investigations into the illegal manufacturing of marijuana in Deschutes County.
