A pedestrian is deceased following a crash in Northeast Portland.
On Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at approximately 5:43 p.m., North Precinct officers responded to reports of a crash in the area of Northeast 65th Avenue and Northeast Sandy Boulevard. When they arrived, officers located a crash involving one vehicle and a pedestrian. Unfortunately, the pedestrian, an adult female, was deceased. The driver remained at the scene.
The Portland Police Bureau’s Major Crash Team responded to the scene and is investigating. During the investigation, Northeast Sandy Boulevard is closed between Northeast 65th Avenue and Northeast 66th Avenue.
