The Republican Unity Caucus (“RUC” or “Unity Caucus”) is uniting conservative grassroots activists and legislators to empower the Freedom Movement in Oregon. Our mission is to defeat the Progressive threat to liberty and the American way of life. We are united by our desire to end the tyranny of equity, diminish the Progressive influence and expose the corrupt, power thirsty politicians destroying the lives of Oregonians. We believe that our inalienable rights are endowed by our Creator and that government without the consent of the governed is tyranny. That liberty is the intersection of freedom and morality. And that it is our duty to support liberty within our state. Our objective for 2024 is to replace the current establishment, who consistently act in opposition of these ideals, with a new establishment who is prepared to fearlessly represent them.
This is what we mean, when we say “simul unum:” together in unity.
Overview
Our objective for the 2024 legislative election cycle is to take control of the Oregon House of Representatives and establish the freedom foothold in Salem. This means taking six additional seats from Progressive Democrats in the Portland Metro Area. There are 8 seats in which the Republican challenger lost by less than 7 points in the 2022 cycle. These are winnable races in 2024. To maximize win percentage, the RUC will deploy every resource to run 30-40 freedom candidates in Portland Metro districts. Unity candidates must pass a litmus test and a political background check to be considered. Republican establishment candidates who have taken action to oppose the freedom movement will be challenged in the primary. If successful, we will have enough members in the House to establish the Oregon Chapter of the National Freedom Caucus.

The Republican Unity Caucus is working with talented organizations and subject matter experts to develop and continually strengthen the Republican platform in Oregon. We are looking forward to bringing bold and exciting legislative actions to restore law & order, fuel economic growth, repair our public schools, restore our natural environment, protect our energy resources and eliminate progressive restrictions on fundamental Civil Rights.
Funding Our Mission
Properly funding and supporting legislative races throughout Oregon will cost millions of dollars. Our goal is to raise $15MM between now and November 2024 to elect our best candidates. We’ve already begun building a warchest. Fundraising is the primary focus and responsibility for Caucus leadership in order to provide our candidates the resources they need to win and protect Oregonians from the Progressive agenda.
Campaign Support
The Republican Unity Caucus has partnered with Politogy, LLC to deliver modern, effective and efficient campaign management services to all Member Candidates. Politogy is based in the Portland Metro Area and provides political campaign management experience and expertise specializing in campaign technology, website development, design services, digital voter contact, public brand management, strategic messaging, public profile development and more. Strategic Partnerships
The Republican Unity Caucus works with multiple grassroots, political, special interest and private organizations who share our mission and values. One of those organizations is Free Oregon, which is now the first conservative Super PAC in Oregon. Super PAC’s provide anonymity to large donors, have no contribution limits and can own additional organizations.
Relationship between Free Oregon and the Unity Caucus
Free Oregon and the Unity Caucus have shared plans to bolster grassroots influence by increasing the fundraising capability of the ORP and county chapters operating in alignment with the mission and values of the caucus.
