The Albany Parks & Recreation reports that they receive $1.78 of the $9.00 city services fee on residents’ utility bill. Over the last two years they have done work to make improvements at multiple park locations, as shown in the graphic below. This has included security improvements at the Riverfront Community Center, installing an outdoor fitness court at Burkhart Park, replacement of the Swanson exercise room floor, and more. Improvements for 2024 & 2025 are still to be determined. https://www.albanyoregon.gov/parks
