DRUG TAKE BACK THIS SATURDAY!
Your Linn County Sheriff’s Office will be holding a Drug Take Back Event with sites around the county available to dispose of your unwanted, unused or expired prescription medications.
We will be located at the following locations and times on Saturday October 28th:
Mill City, City Hall – 9-10am
444 S. 1st Ave
Scio Fire Hall – 10:30-11:30am
38975 SW 6th Ave
Halsey City Hall – 1:00-2:00pm
100 Halsey St
Harrisburg City Hall – 2:30-3:30pm
120 Smith St
What is accepted?
Any type of Rx and/or over the counter medications are acceptable collections. Make sure lids are on tight if they are liquid.
What is not accepted:
Intravenous solutions, injectables, syringes, medical waste or any type of needle will not be accepted.
As a reminder, there is also a drop box located at the Sheriff’s Office at 1115 SE Jackson St in Albany.
