Dear State Central Committee Members,
I’m happy to report that as of now, the registration numbers are looking good for the ORP 2023 Convention coming up in a couple of weeks. I’m really looking forward to seeing you all there!
This convention is the first of its kind put on by the ORP and is a rare opportunity to have people come to Oregon from both the RNC and the Leadership Institute to help us prepare for elections next year. Please share this message with all your PCPs, any one you know thinking of running for any office, and anyone in your Republican clubs and groups and encourage them to join us. The more people who participate, the bigger number of people we have ready to help Republicans win in 2024.
BIG NEWS! Sarah Palin will be there for our ORP Banquet Dinner on Saturday night! We’re so happy that she has agreed to come and talk to us about ranked choice voting and more. (Huge thanks to Wasco County GOP and their team for the assist in making this happen!) The Saturday night Banquet Dinner is a fundraiser and not included in the Convention Registration – you can get tickets for $125 each. You’ll enjoy a great program and a prime rib dinner that is locally sourced. If you’ve already purchased your convention tickets and added in the dinner – wonderful, you’re all set! If you haven’t registered for the ORP 2023 Convention yet, it’s not too late – we’ve extended the pre-registration price once again. Go to oregon.gop/convention2023 to register. The cost is $165 per person through October 9th and will then be $215 online or $300 at the door. The pre-registration price won’t be extended again, so be sure to register before the price increases.
The $165 includes:
- Thursday night Taste of Umatilla County Reception (I got the menu today – all I can say is WOW!)
- Breakfast, buffet lunch, coffee, iced tea, lemonade, and snacks on both Friday and Saturday.
- Friday night BBQ dinner with live music, dancing and fun!
- Optional tour of the drone facility nearby
- RNC and Leadership Institute Training for candidates, campaign workers, and volunteers
- Convention Delegates participate in all aspects of writing our Platform for 2023/2024
- Convention Attendees have the opportunity to observe the Platform Convention General session and State Central Committee Meeting
