September 27, 2023 – Senate Republican Leader Tim Knopp: Leader Knopp Welcomes the Incoming House Republican Leadership Team
Yesterday, Representative Jeff Helfrich (R-Hood River) was selected by House Republicans to serve as their Leader. They also selected Representative Mark Owens (R-Crane) as Deputy Leader and Representative Kim Wallan (R-Medford) as Whip.
“From the heart of the Rogue Valley to the Columbia River Gorge to the sprawling farmland of Harney County, it is very impressive to see nearly every corner of Oregon represented by the new House Republican leadership team,” said Senate Republican Leader Tim Knopp (R-Bend). “Oregon is a better place to live and work when costs are lower, housing is more affordable, and our streets are safer for everyone.
