This ridiculously stupid woman who calls herself a journalist for the @nationmag has been harassing our group the past several months in an attempt to get info on a #VancouverWashington area man that attended some of our interstate meetups with the @washingtonstateyrs#WashingtonYoungRepublicans, a fantastic organization whose Chair our friend @chaconlenny has been doing monumental work for the state of #Washington conservative movement.
Her entire article hinges on this ONE man she met being an extremist right wing white supremacist which must be indicative of the whole #YR movement, which is beyond sloppy reporting. Especially given the fact that she failed to mention he is allegedly a Democrat (spy?) who has been at many and most major political events all over the country the past several years. Funded by whom? Lord knows. Pretty boring clickbait, if you asked us.
What we do know about him is that he doesn’t have a permanent physical address and since he’s not an #Oregonian resident nor a registered #Republican, he was never eligible to become a member of the #YoungRepublicansofOregon. He, like anyone else, was always welcome to attend our meetings as we do not discriminate nor turn away those interested in having peaceful, productive discussions. He seemed to be a history buff and loved a good pint. That’s all we really know about him. Wish we had something juicier to share. He never said anything racist or extremist in our circles, as there are BELIEVE IT OR NOT people of color and of many different religions in our membership who contribute excellent service to the community. Where’s our #DEI Award?
What we do know is that they tried to infiltrate us and unfortunately found us to be just a bunch of harmless, good looking dorks 🤓 who love America 🇺🇸 and who want to lead our beautiful state of #Oregon into prosperity for all 🌲 Sound like you? Join us! YoungRepublicansofOregon.org
