Longview, WA. — Five people were arrested Wednesday morning after a narcotics investigation led deputies to serve a search warrant at a Longview residence. On February 11, 2026, the Cowlitz County Sheriff’s Office Crime Reduction Team (CRT) executed a warrant at a home in the 600 block of 32nd Avenue with assistance from Lower Columbia SWAT and the Longview Police Department Street Crimes Unit.
Detectives said the warrant stemmed from an investigation into the delivery of controlled substances. During the search, authorities reported locating controlled substances, cash, evidence of drug distribution, and a stolen firearm.
Multiple individuals were contacted at the residence. The following were booked into the Cowlitz County Jail on various charges:
- Caleb Polzel, 30, of Longview — Three counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Fentanyl) within 1,000 feet of a school zone and Unlawful Use of a Building for Drug Purposes.
- Jermaine Brown, 43, of Longview — Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, and Possession of a Stolen Firearm.
- Jerome Garner, 38, of Kelso — Possession of a Controlled Substance by a Prisoner and outstanding warrants for second- and third-degree theft.
- Shasta Shaw, 25, of Kelso — Three misdemeanor warrants for possession of a controlled substance.
- Faith Cadle, 21, of Toledo — Department of Corrections felony warrant.
The investigation remains ongoing. Authorities have not released additional details regarding the quantities of drugs seized or whether further arrests are expected.
