Klamath Falls, OR. — Members of the Basin Interagency Narcotics Enforcement Team (BINET) arrested 19-year-old Klamath Falls resident Timothy Moulton on Thursday, February 5, 2026, concluding an ongoing narcotics investigation.
According to investigators, Moulton was arrested in the 1100 block of Crescent Avenue, a location adjacent to Klamath Union High School. Authorities allege Moulton had been selling marijuana and psilocybin mushrooms to juvenile high school students in the area.
When contacted by law enforcement, Moulton was found in possession of pre-packaged psilocybin mushrooms and marijuana intended for sale. Investigators also discovered a loaded firearm under the seat of the vehicle he was driving. Police said Moulton admitted he was meeting a juvenile student at that location to sell controlled substances.
Moulton reportedly gave investigators consent to search his residence in the 1700 block of Fargo Street in Klamath Falls. During the search, investigators seized several thousand dollars in U.S. currency believed to be proceeds from drug sales, three additional firearms, more than one pound of marijuana pre-packaged for resale, nearly one pound of psilocybin mushrooms pre-packaged for sale, LSD, and other evidence of drug distribution.
Melissa Moulton, 39, was contacted and interviewed at the residence. Both Melissa and Timothy Moulton were issued citations for felony offenses, including delivery of a controlled substance — marijuana — to a minor. The cases have been referred for further consideration.
No additional details were released as of Friday.
The investigation included detectives and officers from the Klamath Falls Police Department, Oregon State Police, Klamath Falls patrol officers, and an intelligence analyst from the Oregon National Guard Counter-Drug Program.
