Coos County, OR. — The Coos County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating Ryan Handran, 45, who was reported missing on February 4 after failing to return home from his place of employment in Coos Bay.
According to investigators, Handran was last seen in the Bunker Hill area during the early morning hours, walking toward Mullen Road and not wearing any clothing. He had left work at the Bachelor’s Inn, located at 63721 Edwards Road, and did not arrive home as expected. His girlfriend reported him missing later that day.
Handran is described as approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing between 150 and 195 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. Authorities say he has some health concerns but is not believed to be dangerous.
Since the report was filed, the Coos County Sheriff’s Office has conducted an extensive search effort. Deputies have canvassed the area, interviewed coworkers and neighbors, reviewed surveillance footage, searched local waterways, deployed a drone to examine hard-to-reach terrain, and followed up on multiple tips. Law enforcement agencies along the Oregon Coast and local media outlets have also been alerted.
