Spokane, WA. — The United States Marshals Service arrested Keantray Davon Bryant-Muellner on January 16, 2026, in Spokane on an outstanding Washington State Department of Corrections Secretary’s Arrest Warrant for violating the terms of his Graduated Re-Entry probation.
Bryant-Muellner’s probation stemmed from an April 2024 arrest following a joint investigation by the U.S. Marshals Service, the Spokane Police Department, and the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office Regional Air Support Unit. That case included charges of First-Degree Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Possession of a Stolen Firearm, Fourth-Degree Assault (Domestic Violence), and Escape from Community Custody.
At about 5:30 p.m. near the 3000 block of South Regal Street, members of the Marshals’ Fugitive Task Force established a perimeter around a residence associated with Bryant-Muellner. After repeated law-enforcement announcements, officers removed a glass sliding door. Two uninvolved adults exited the home.
Bryant-Muellner was located attempting to conceal himself under a child’s bed and surrendered peacefully without incident.
Following the arrest, DOC Community Response Unit specialists conducted a lawful probation search of the residence, recovering a handgun and high-capacity magazines.
United States Marshal for the Eastern District of Washington Craig Thayer said the arrest highlights effective interagency cooperation. “With gun violence continuing to plague Spokane, every violent offender arrested and every firearm taken off the street makes our communities safer,” Thayer said.
The arrest was carried out by members of the Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task Force, with assistance from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Spokane Police Department, and Washington State Department of Corrections.
