Medford, OR. — Medford will welcome the holiday season with the 2025 Winter Lights Festival on Saturday, Dec. 6, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Pear Blossom Park. The free, family-friendly celebration will feature illuminated displays, live entertainment, festive activities, and holiday treats for all ages.
The evening kicks off at 5:15 p.m. with the popular candy cane hunt, followed by photo ops with Santa, performances, and the traditional tree lighting. A fireworks show is also planned, weather permitting.
DJ Gemineye will emcee the event and host a DJ battle beginning at 5:30 p.m. Attendees will receive lighted bracelets to glow along with the festivities, while supplies last.
A new feature this year invites residents to join an illuminated community parade. Participants can decorate bikes, trikes, scooters, wagons, or strollers with lights and holiday flair. The parade is free to join, but organizers request pre-registration online or by calling 541-774-2400.
Lithia & Driveway will also host the Polar Express experience, offering hot cocoa, holiday card making, cookie decorating, and a photo booth with Boujee Pix.
The Winter Lights Festival is presented by the Medford Parks, Recreation and Facilities Department and sponsored by Lithia & Driveway, Harry & David, Rogue Valley DJs, Walkabout Brewing, and Travel Medford.
If you’d like, I can also produce additional headline options, a short promo script, or social media versions of the announcement.
