Woodburn, OR. — On Saturday night, November 8, 2025, at 10:42 p.m., Woodburn Police officers responded to reports of an explosion at the Woodburn Inn, located at 1025 N. Pacific Highway.
Upon arrival, officers found a 25-year-old man outside a ground-level room with non-life-threatening bleeding injuries caused by flying glass and debris from an apparent explosion inside the room. After moving the man to safety, officers discovered a 33-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man still inside, both suffering from burn injuries.
All three individuals were taken to local hospitals for treatment. None of the injuries appeared to be life-threatening. The entire motel was evacuated as a precaution.
The Oregon State Police bomb squad searched the scene and found no explosive devices. The cause of the explosion remains under investigation.
