Oregon — The Oregon Arts Commission announced $1,759,580 in FY2026 Sustaining Arts Program grants to 355 nonprofit arts organizations statewide. The redesigned program—updated in 2025—aims to provide a more equitable distribution of funds, with awards ranging from $1,000 to $20,000. The new formula accounts for each organization’s annual expenses, number of applicants, and available funding, ensuring proportional support for groups of all sizes.
“These grants reflect our ongoing commitment to invigorating Oregon’s diverse artistic communities,” said Commission Chair Subashini-Ganesan Forbes. “The extensive grantee list highlights the many organizations operating with impeccable vision to nourish and energize their respective communities.”
The Sustaining Arts Program includes both Group A organizations (annual budgets under $150,000) and Group B organizations (budgets $150,000 and above). Funds are unrestricted and may be used to support ongoing operations, programming, and community engagement efforts.
