Lebanon, OR. – Official Release: The Young Women’s Fire Academy offers a transformative experience for aspiring firefighters and young women eager to explore the dynamic world of emergency services. Tailored specifically for individuals between the ages of 14 and 19 residing in Oregon, our academy provides a comprehensive curriculum taught by local female firefighters. From mastering fire suppression techniques to honing leadership skills, our program is designed to foster an interactive, supportive, and inspiring atmosphere where participants can gain invaluable insights into the fire service industry. With a focus on empowerment and skill development, the Young Women’s Fire Academy is more than a training ground—it’s a pathway to personal and professional growth, equipping participants with the tools they need to succeed in any career path they choose.
- Dates: July 13th and 14th, 2024, from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm.
- Application Deadline: Friday, May 3rd, 2024, by 4:30 pm.
