On Wednesday August 23, 2023, His Excellency President David Kabua and Cabinet member Honourable Casten N. Nemra, Minister of Finance received a courtesy visit from The Honourable William Bill Hansell, Madam wife Margaret Hansell and delegates from the State of Oregon.
Honourable Senator Hansell delivered his enthusiasm and advocacy for the Marshallese community have made a significant impact on the lives of individuals and families in Oregon. His continuous support in areas such as healthcare, education and cultural integration has been invaluable to the Marshallese migration. Honourable Senator Hansell along with his spouse and delegates are looking forward to supporting these important goals.
His Excellency President Kabua and Minister Nemra expressed their warm greetings of “Iakwe” to Senator Hansell and took the opportunity to convey their gratitude for his countless efforts in supporting the Marshallese community. HE President Kabua continues to strengthen the relationship between the people of the Republic of the Marshall Islands and the Oregon State for its future endeavors.
